About the Package
Shooting the Breeze
Seafarers and adventure-seekers will revel in the June Bahtra magical cruise through wonders of Phang-Nga Bay in southern Thailand. A traditional junk-rigged schooner, accommodating up to 20 passengers, the vessel’s design is influenced by Thai, Malay and Dutch shipbuilders. Lay back on comfortable deck cushions beneath the sun canopy and let the gentle sea breezes of the bay play over your face and body.James Bond Island
The cruise around Phang-Nga Bay reveals odd-shaped, scenic limestone formations jutting out of an azure sea surrounded by a lush, tropical archipelago. Visit “James Bond Island” – so-called because of scenes shot on location for “The Man with the Golden Gun.” Nearby, scattered throughout the mangrove delta, are Grotto Caves and the Sea Gypsy Village – well worth exploring.
