Malaysia - Cameron Highlands
Cameron Highlands

The Cameron Highlands in Pahang were named after a British explorer, who discovered it in 1885. After the discovery, the British transformed it into a hill station. Its ideal weather that resembles the summer season in Europe has lured both local and foreign visitors to go there.

Tanah Rata is a little town cradled by rainforests and safeguarded by Mount Jasar and Mount Berembun, plus two waterfalls called Parit and Robinson. Five kilometres further up from Tanah Rata is Brinchang town, the home of Cameron Highlands highest peak, the magnificent Mount Brinchang, which is forever soaking in the mists.

Cameron Highlands are renowned for its cool countryside characters such as the Tudor architecture, the strikingly beautiful tea plantations, rose gardens, the strawberry farms, butterfly farms and lush rolling hills.

Apart from that, Cameron Highlands are also a paradise for trekkers. Its interior terrains are tough, rugged and uncompromising. To explore the rainforests involve days of trek.

Actually, Cameron Highlands possess some kind of mysterious charm because many visitors tend to stay longer than they plan.
