Day 1: Arrival Guilin
Meet at the airport and transferr to your hotel.
Day 2: Guilin – Li River Excursion
(Breakfast / Lunch)
After breakfast in the morning, full day cruise on Lijiang River.
Lijiang River is the soul of Guilin scenery. It is the river of poems and paintings. The region covers 83-km karsts area with clear, exotic, ingenious and changing characteristics. Take a boat a boat and enjoy yourself with the wonderful scenery of peeks, rivers, sunshine and reflections on the water. Guilin is a fairyland in the world with "Fascinating Views of Three Hills", "Nine Horses in Picture Hill", "Places of Interest in Xingping" and "Green-Lotus World" etc.
Traveling on Lijiang River is indeed a wonderful experience, enjoyment and exploration, because it is always like an endless beautiful sonata of hills and waters.
In early afternoon transfer from the pier in Yangshuo town back to Guilin. Rest of the day is free at own leisure.
Overnight in Guilin at at 3 star hotel.
Day 3: Guilin – the caves and hills in Guilin
(Breakfast / Lunch)
Morning visit at the beautiful Reed Flute Caves with stalactites and stalagmites.
The Reed Flute Cave is praised as "the art hall created by nature". The track of tourists is prosperous from Tang Dynasty. From 1959 when it was developed, it has been a must for every tourist to Guilin.
Then visit Fubo Hill where you can look at a nice view of the city. Rising from the ground, Fubo Hill slopes into Lijiang River in the east and looms in the west over the ground. Waves run back wherever they meet the blocks thus it gets the name. A tale also has it that Ma Yuan, called General Fubo, of the Han Dynasty had once passed by Guilin on a southern expedition. He poured all the pearls he carried into the river, so the hill was named after him in his memory,
After lunch you have free time to explore the city.

Built over 2,000 years ago during the Qin Dynasty and named after the fragrance of osmanthus, Guilin has been famous for its picturesque scenery. The Lijiang River flows from northeast to southeast like a jade ribon meandering past Guilin. Boating on Lijiang River, one sees the spectacular hills meandering and undulating along both sides of the river. Located in the subtropical zone in the southern part of the country, it boasts a pleasant climate throughout the year.

Reed Flute Park Located in the northwest of Guilin City, 5 kilometres away from the city centre, the park offers a majestic fairyland of karst caves with landscape and rural scenery. The length of the Reed Flute Cave is 240 meters, whereas the tourist trail inside the cave can be as long as 500 meters. There are too many things for the eyes to take in. The cave has the natural beauty of large amount of stalactites, stalagmites, stone columns, stone curtains, stone pillars in fantastic shapes and colours, which formed the numerous imaginable spots, such as 'Dawn in the Lion Hill', 'Round-topped Mosquito Palace', The Hill of Flowers and Fruits', etc. These remarkable scenes in the cave could undoubtedly evoke breathless admiration from domestic and foreign visitors. In a word, the Reed Flute Cave has become one of the most popular spots in Guilin that Chinese and foreign tourists will be bound to visit.
Yangshuo Located 65 kilometres south of Guilin along Lijiang River is Yangshuo County. This small laid back town becomes a haven to adventurers who want to explore Guilin’s countryside. Founded in Jin Dynasty some 1500 years ago, it is famous not only for the attractive hills and waters there, but also for its fertile farmlands, particularly for such fruits as sweet orange, tangerine and pomelo. The town boosts numerous caf้, souvenir shops and guesthouses. It is easy to get around the town with bicycles which are available for rent in many shops in the market.
