Mail and Electricity

All Cambodia's mails are consolidated in Phnom Penh. Sending letters and postcards from provincial cities is less reliable and more expensive than posting them from the capital.

Sending a package overseas is expensive and can only be posted in Phnom Penh. The main post office in Phnom Penh is the only place that accepts mail bound for abroad. It is located on Street 13, a block east of Wat Phnom. It is open from 7 am to 5:30 pm every day.  Good selections of collectable Cambodian postage stamps can be purchased here too.

Electricity
Electricity in Cambodia is 220 Volts. You will need a voltage converter if you plan to use your device that does not accept 230 Volts at 50 Hertz.
