Day 1 Bangkok - Kaeng Krachang National Park (Lunch, Dinner) Depart from your hotel in Bangkok at 0700 by private vehicle for the 3 hour drive to Kaeng Krachan National Park. Check in at your resort on the edge of the park and head for lunch at a restaurant overlooking Kaeng Krachan lake. After lunch, start the drive into Kaeng Krachan national park with your naturalist guide and porters. At Bang Krang ranger station, set out on an afternoon trek through the forest. On your return to Bang Krang, the support team will have cold drinks and Thai meal waiting for you. After dinner in the forest, start the drive back on the look out for nocturnal species such as elephant, civet, porcupine, gaur and possibly event leopard. Overnight at Kaeng Krachan Country Club
Day 2 Kaeng Krachan National Park - Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) After breakfast at 0600, leave the resort for a full day trek deep in the heart of Kaeng Krachan. You will stop along the way at key points on the look-out to watch various bird species, and primates such as gibbons and dusky langur. The park is home to five species of hornbill: the great, pied, brown, wreathed and plain-poached. At the higher elevations of the park other delights include the long-tailed broadbill and the rachet-tailed treepie (in Thailand, can only be found in Kaeng Krachan). Depart the park around 4 pm and transfer by private vehicle on the 2-hour drive to Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park. Arrive at your small beach-side resort in time for a sunset swim after your day in the jungle. Overnight at Dolphin Bay Resort Day 3 Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park - Island Tours (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Board a boat for the trip to a nearby island that is home to long-tailed macaque monkeys. Watch and photograph the macaque as they feed along the shoreline before heading around the island where a school of dolphins can sometimes be seen. Tour around the offshore islands on the lookout for sea eagles, pacific-coast egrets and some of the other birdlife in the area. Back on shore transfer by car to the nearby park headquarters where you will spend some time birdwatching, walking through the mangrove and witnessing at close-quarters the lives of resident dusky langur and long-tailed macaque monkeys. Relax for a few hours either by the pool or on the beach. Depart at 1500 for the 90 minute drive to a nearby park, where you will spend the rest of the day and early evening with your guide and parks rangers on a drive to search for some of the park's 120 elephants and other resident wildlife. Depart the park and head back to Khao Sam Roi Yot. Overnight: Dolphin Bay Resort.
Day 4 Khao Sam Roi Yot - Bangkok (Breakfast, Lunch) In the morning, relax at your leisure - taking a swim on the beach or exploring the local area. After lunch, depart Khao Sam Roi Yot for the journey back to Bangkok. Arrive at your Bangkok hotel at around 1800.

Background
Kaeng Krachan National Park is one of Thailand’s best wildlife habitats with a diverse array of flora and fauna. Wildlife sightings opportunities include dusky langur, gibbon, elephant, hornbills (mostly the great and wreathed) and a huge array of other birds. The park is also home to tiger, two species of bear, and leopard, although these magnificent creatures are more difficult to see.
Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, was declared as the first coastal park in Thailand in 1966. The name Khao Sam Roi Yot can be translated into “the mountain with three hundred peaks”, a series of magnificent gray limestone mountains, which rise dramatically from the Gulf of Thailand and adjacent coastal marsh to a maximum height of 605m. Khao Sam Roi Yot contains some of the best shoreline/wetland habitat in Thailand, and the park is listed as a site of global conservation importance in the Asian Wetlands Directory of the IUCN. The marshlands are home to wintering populations of at least 28 larger wetland species and numerous smaller species. Some 275 bird species have been confirmed here. Other resident wildlife included primates such as dusky langur and long tailed macaque, serow (mountain goat), and bottle-nose dolphins. Not far from Khao Sam Roi Yot, wild elephants can be frequently seen in the late afternoon as they emerge from the forest to feed.
