Introducing "Silver Shadow"
A floating paradise of holidaymakers
March 9, 2004
Circle of Asia, Silversea's official sale representative, is pleased to introduce “Silver Shadow”, world class luxury cruise liner to Thailand to discover the magic of the oriental seas.
Mr Withaya Pawawes, Product Development Manager of Circle of Asia Company Limited, said that the company was appointed as an official agent for Silversea Cruise Company, world-renowned luxury cruise company.
Silver Shadow is one of Silversea’s four magnificent ships that consist of Silver Cloud, Silver Wind and Silver Whisper. Built from 2000-2001, it was registered in the Bahamas. This 10-storey ship weighs 28,258 tons with 610 feet in length and 81.8 feet in width. It features 191 suites, which can accommodate 382 passengers, an expanded Fitness Center and Spa, a computer Center, a theater, fine restaurants and casino.
Each year, Silver Shadow will take a route passing several countries including Thailand with a stop at Leam Chabang, Phuket and Samui. The docking at Leam Chabang is made for fuel fill-up, fresh food stock and other necessities.
For this coming Songkran holiday, Mr Withaya said the company offered 2 cruising packages for 2 romantic routes.
The first package is the 8-day Singapore-Hong Kong package that starts from 6 to 13 April 2004. The second package takes on the 5-day Hong Kong-Shanghai trip from 13-17 April 2004. The price for two packages is 124,950 Baht and 77,000 Baht respectively.
“Even though the price sounds expensive, we believe the ship will attract many holidaymakers who are looking for an exclusive yet exciting program. Every passenger will enjoy numerous entertainments on board from culinary demonstration to dance lesson. All are inclusive in the price with 24-hour room service.” Mr Withaya said.
Silver Shadow differs from other cruise ships in the region because it offers a truly all-inclusive fare that covers virtually every little detail, such as your gratuities and port charges. All food and beverages including, wines, champagnes, and spirits are complimentary everywhere throughout the ship. It also offers remarkable voyages in various destinations around the world.
In addition, the ship's 295 crews are hospitable and eager to help you in every need during your stay. It begins the moment you step aboard with a warm welcome and a flute of champagne, and follows throughout your voyage with an unspoken anticipation of your needs.
